Welcome to Flippy Marketplace PTY LTD (“Flippy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using our website, mobile services, WhatsApp bot, or any related services (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Flippy Platform, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms, whether or not you become a registered user. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Our Services

Flippy is a peer-to-peer marketplace that facilitates the listing, browsing, and sale of items between users. We do not own, sell, or control any of the items listed by users.

3. User Accounts

• Users must provide accurate and truthful information during onboarding.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your WhatsApp account and interactions.
• Verified users may access additional features such as identity verification and trust indicators.

4. Listings & Transactions

• All listings must comply with applicable laws and our prohibited items policy.
• Flippy does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or authenticity of items listed by users.
• Transactions are conducted directly between buyers and sellers.

5. Payments & Upgrades

• Premium features are purchased using an in-app credit system.
• Credits can be bought via our secure payment partner, Payfast.
• Flippy does not store your payment information.
• All credit purchases are final unless otherwise required by law.

6. Verification

• Flippy offers free ID verification using our partner, Sumsub.
• Verification badges indicate identity checks but do not guarantee trustworthiness.

7. Ratings & Reviews

• After transactions, users may rate each other.
• Ratings must be honest, respectful, and based on actual experiences.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Platform for:

• Fraud, scams, or false listings
• Abusive, hateful, or discriminatory behavior
• Circumventing our moderation or rating systems
• Violating laws or third-party rights
• Listing prohibited items, including firearms, pets, livestock, or any illegal items or substances.

Violation of these rules will result in an account ban and removal from the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

Flippy is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your use of the Platform. Use at your own risk.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
